​Local to Portland, Oregon, for over 30 years, Malaina Kinne fell in love with photography in 2017, but has loved to dance since she was 13 years old.

Photography and Zumba® have both been creative outlets and a saving grace in her life. She enjoys capturing the action shots and smiles of fellow Zumba® lovers.

When not taking photos, Malaina enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, sipping on a latte, journaling, dancing, or writing in her planner.

OUR Committee

Each year the Pink Warrior event is run by an all-volunteer group of Zumba® instructors and fans passionate about the community and the cause. The committee changes each year; see below for the 2025 team.

Our Instructors
Zumba® instructors love bringing people together in appreciation of music, life, and community. Dozens of local instructors gather at Pink Warrior each year. Some just want to do their part to help. Others have seen loved ones go through a battle with cancer. Some are survivors themselves.

Von Stanley Gossi resides in High Point, NC. Von has a B.S. in Public Health Education, which started his passion for educating individuals to live a healthy lifestyle, and a Master’s in Business Management. Von has been ZIN™ Member since 2013 and a Zumba® Jammer since 2015, and the recipient of Zumba® Home Office 2017 & 2018 Top Rhythm ZJ™ of the Year Award. Von is a 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 ZIN Convention Presenter.
Aloha! I am MiRan (mee-rdan) and I am your Washington State ZES! I've been a ZIN since 2011! I started taking Zumba classes at over 200 lbs and 3 babies ago. I am a professional hula dancer and love being in the mountains and nature. I come from a very strong family filled with lots of talents and gifts. I firmly believe in following your heart and doing what makes YOU HAPPY. Zumba opened the doors to fitness for me and gave me the confidence and joy I didn't know I was missing.
Tiffany Kugiya is the Zumba® Education Specialist (ZES) for Oregon and has been a licensed Zumba® Instructor and proud ZIN™ Member since 2011. She is also a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a strong background in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and holistic wellness. Tiffany combines her clinical expertise with her passion for movement to educate, motivate, and empower others to live healthier lives. Through dance, positivity, and community connection, she inspires people of all ages to move with purpose and joy.
Hi, I’m Nancy Korf, and I’m the Zumba Education Specialist (ZES) for Zumba Gold® for the Pacific Northwest, as well as a ZIN Jammer for Gold®.  Throughout my 34 year career in the fitness industry, my mission has been to make all people feel welcome, safe, and seen in my classes. I found Zumba® in 2011 and quickly discovered how beautifully it meshes with that mission. In my role as Gold ZES, I teach instructors how to make their classes inclusive for all people. When not dancing, I’m teaching gentle yoga, pilates, and corrective exercise in Portland, Oregon. I also own a small pilates studio.
